Not sure if this is the right place to post or not, so here goes – I have to paint the outside of my place which I'm planning to sell next year.  I really like white houses, but my wife says white is too boring/ I'm thinking like white with darker color shutters, dark green/black maybe.

The most important thing is that whoever buys the place needs to like the color though, so I'm looking for ideas on good color combinations – thanks in advance for your help.

See if you can add a little more color in there, at least for the trim.  Sometimes white can work, but it looks best if it is done with colorful trim.
