I’ve been thinking about getting into some more investing for myself. The tax lien course looks especially interesting. Anybody had any luck with that one?
One of my friends buys homes with tax liens…he’s been doing well wtth it.
R.E.O. investing does work, but it takes time and money. You really have to negotiate a lot with the banks to get the best price.
Another thing is that sometimes the banks that have the properties are willing to sell them very cheap, especially if they have had them for a while.
For us agents, the only big money these days seems to be with REO listings. I would love to get more contacts at the banks!

With the way the market is looking there should be some good commercial deals coming up. It would probably pay off in the long run to invest a little in some education now.
